Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation Wrongful Accusation of Shop Lifting
On December 20th, 2011 I was accused of shoplifting by a Manager at the NSLC on Tacoma Drive in Dartmouth, NS. After allowing the manager to search me and proving her wrong she refused to apologize for her mistake and told me to leave the store without allowing me to make my purchase. After filing a complaint with the NSLC Corporate office I was put in touch with regional manager Gordon MacEwen who only offered excuses for why it could have happened and refused to do anything about it except saying "If you had a negative experience at one of our stores I apologize." I asked for compensation for the embarrassment I endured at the hand of his staff and he replied '' I don't have enough information on the incident to do that." I told him he could have time more time to investigate and he replied "I'm saying this is the last time I will be contacting you regarding this matter."
