I was supposed to take a flight from Richmond to Chicago and then Chicago to Vancouver on Saturday January 28th. Due to some unforseen circumstances, I missed my flight. Aeroplan has allowed me to credit the points I used to book the flights, but for some reason it shows that my flight was taken from Richmond to Chicago (I believe that the flight must have been given to someone on stand-by). Aeroplan is willing to credit me the points but I need United to confirm that it was not me who was on that flight. I need the points to book a flight this weekend, and really need to speak to someone from United regarding this. I have been told that I must email customer relations and wait 24 hours but that will be too late. I am really hoping I can speak to someone from United Airlines regarding this to get confirmation to provide to Aeroplan that I was not on that flight (which can be seen by the fact that I had no boarding pass).
