I made an internet purchase of a phone on January 9, 2012. I received the phone on January 24 and activated it that day. However, Cricket considered the first month of service as commencing on the date of the order. That means I paid for 2 weeks of service when the phone had not even been activated. After of hours of trying to get a human being on the phone to talk to about this after they cut off the phone on February 9, I was told that they could not change the billing date from the 9th of the month to the 24th of the month. Cricket has helpful representative only if you have the time (1 to 2 hours) to wait for one to get on the phone. However, they has no real power to do anything for the customers.
