Sears World Headquarters Sears is giving me the gears

Purchased a Kenmore dishwasher in Sept. 2011. It stopped working 2 weeks ago (less than 5 months after purchase). Sears repair guy comes to check it out a few days ago. Tells me it needs a new pump motor and that it needs to be removed from under the counter to fix, which we paid someone to put in when we bought it. They will not do it because "we've ruined too many counter tops and floors". Wife calls CS to complain 2 days ago and CS rep trys to blame it on installation AND we find out the part will not be in for more than a month! They refuse to acknowledge the fact that this piece of garbage dishwasher is LESS THAN 5 MONTHS OLD. We paid $349 + $105 for extended 2 year warranty + $85 for delivery and removal of old unit + $16 for a hose that doesn't come with the unit + $60 to have it installed + 13% tax on all of that (except the installation). That adds up to almost double the listed price. Now they want us to pay someone to pull the unit out and reinstall?! No way! All we want is the unit repaired at their expense as it is still under warranty. We refuse to pay another dime to get this resolved, and and do not want to wait 4+ weeks to get this fixed! __ Location Griped About: Sears Canada Inc Champlain Place Dieppe Moncton, NB , Canada
