Andalusia Ford, LLC Nothing Like Paying $38,000.00 For A Lemon
Status:
In September of 2011 we purchased a 2008 Ford F-450 at Andalusia Ford with very low mileage. This vehicle broke down 9 times in the first 6 weeks of ownership. Upon the final breakdown in November we were told it now needed a new engine at a cost of $22,000.00 to us personally as Ford corporate was now voiding our warranty. Since the vehicle was purchased for use by our small family business and has now been unusable for months, we have lost our business. We have all of the paperwork showing all of the facts with regards to this vehicle, including the entire service history of the vehicle since it was purchased new at the exact same dealership. We even have the support of the original owner who purchased the vehicle new from the same dealership and he states that the vehicle was problematic from the get go and that Ford was aware of this. We received no disclosure from Ford about these multiple, and serious problems. We needed a reliable vehicle and are now left with a $38,000.00 piece of junk, and Ford simply doesnt care. We will never purchase another Ford product again, and we will make sure everyone hears our story so that they dont get taken advantage of either.
