Marriott International Headquarters Marriott Renaissance LUGGAGE THEFT

Stored 5 pieces of luggage with this Marriott hotel pending availability of our room but only 4 pieces were returned to us. Hotel manager said they were not responsible although we had a luggage claim showing we checked 5 pieces. No apologies, no discounts for our 2-night stay. Upon return we contacted Marriott Headquarters who intervened. We did eventually receive compensation but this covered less than half of our loss. Barcelona Management wrote that the amount of compensation was based on the amount that their insurance covered.
