Empire life insurance company is hiding behind a technicality and refusing to pay term life insurance to the widow who is a senior. In December 2010 the application ws made to the company and after the necessary medical investigation the company accepted the application in January 2011. However, when the policyholder died suddenly of a heart attack in March 2011, the company refused to pay.
-The company has a long complaint process designed to exhaust the widow from contesting the company's action.
-Should the widow have to find a lawyer and pay lawyer fees to try to get payment from Empire Insurance Company?
