CAA - Head Office Canada's Abhorrent A-wads - aka CAA

Typical of any company that holds a monopoly, CAA seems to do whatever they please. My car broke down this morning, I was told to wait 30-45 minutes, and just like every other time I've called it turns out being way longer, in this case 1.25 hrs. It's fortunate that my frail mom wasn't with me sitting there in the Canadian cold.. we'd be lawyering up right now. I'm not sure what I'm paying CAA for; I called a towing company and they said they could be there in 5 minutes, and the tow would cost a quarter of my yearly CAA membership, definitely cancelling.
