I have a medical condition that requires medication. When my prescription ran out, it was mandated that I come in for a doctor's visit in order to renew my prescription; after stopping by my doctor's office for approximately 15 minutes, I was given my prescription and promptly went home. Roughly a week later, I received a bill that charged me as though I had insurance (needless to say, it was a lot of money). I sent them a letter asking them to reduce the price accordingly. Rather than working with me, I was told to call the office. To make a long story short, the phone call was unsuccessful, and now I'm still planted firmly at square one - same bill, same price. I'm in good standing and up-to-date on all my bills, and I was even given a reduction in the past. Please help.
