Failure to recall cars with known CVTs

MeganGerety
@Nissan North America has sold Rogues with knowingly faulty CVTs for years. Repairs start subtly and mechanics aren't able to replicate them. By the time they are able to replicate them, you're out of warranty. Nissan is aware and has a class action suit but because they aren't notifying consumers, people aren't aware until it's too late. Many consumers are dealing with expensive repairs. I'm facing a $5k repair with $5k still owed on my car. This quote is from the Nissan dealer because a couple independent shops won't touch my car. I'm not asking Nissan to foot the whole repair cost but I think the bear a level of responsibility and should share the cost of repair since they knowingly install d faulty transmissions. These cars are UNSAFE.
