whirlpool disaster | Gripevine
So we purchased a house full of whirlpool appliances. I ordered their largest fridge which was delivered Oct 2nd 2012, so far I had to have 6 or more service calls averaging one week and I have had to lose a day of work each time unpaid and now they have cut my work week by one day.....first thing I am not happy about. 2nd and all these issues and its been the same issue ......water leaking inside all over the right side of fridge so I cant use that side and not holding ice and water leaking through ice maker. So I had to go buy a small fridge/freezer to hold ice and product for the holidays and extra expense I was not planning when we had purchased the biggest and expensive one. Now they think they know the problem but will NOT overnight the piece to the repair place and the repair place is 1.5 hrs from my home so they will only come here once a week, even though there is a place 30-40 mins away. I have been telling them for weeks we leave tues for Texas for a few weeks, so I can imagine the mess I will come home too and if I turn everything off I will lose all my food.
