I ordered a LEATHER cigar case for my husband for Christmas from www.elighters.com. I did understand that ENGRAVED items cannot be returned. However the engraved part was a separate "peel and stick" plate with three initials. This isn't even the problem though.
I received the "leather" case and discovered it was not leather, and it was basically a cheaply made thing, not worth the $35 I paid. When I contacted customer service they said that it was an engraved item and couldn't be returned. I explained the case itself was not engraved and in fact the engraved plate was FREE with the order. I explained the case was not made of leather and it was already coming apart. They then said they would accept it but would charge me a 20% restocking fee. I told them I do not want to pay a restocking fee since they sold me something that was incorrectly advertised as leather when it was not. They refuse to reimburse my full purchase price.
