Verizon non communication
I signed up with Verizon home connect service and found that connectivity between the phone receivers around my home and the router they provide is very poor. The result is poor voice quality and drop out during the conversation. A call to their corporate office led to a promise of attention by a service rep. The rep never showed up and they will not return my calls.

Doesn't that service just use your internet with wi-fi? You could connect a bigger, higher gain antenna to the router if the antenna is removable. If not you can increase the gain one direction by putting a foil reflector behind it's antenna or possibly move it to a better location that's higher up and doesn't have any obstructions. There are a lot of high gain antennas on ebay and you can find directions on how to boost the output with Google.
I understand and accept your suggestion. Nevertheless I should not have to fix their problem or accept the poor customer "no service".
I don't think Verizon can be responsible for conditions at your house. You need to take responsibility to fix it yourself. Like I said, get a better antenna or router and stop complaining.
Verizon doesn't care if their customers are satisfied. They're all about the money. They even acknowledged that one of their store sales representatives lied to me and subsequently tricked me into an expensive plan, yet they would NOT refund what the ripped me off.
Good luck waiting on Verizon to 'take care of the customer' or 'make it right'.
Hmmm... "too big to fail"?
Apparently you work for Verizon. There exec office promised a technician's visit. Are they incompetent or just deceitful?
