LG again falls short of good life-updates never come

I bought the LG SLATE,I thought it would be a good buy over the ipad since it perfomed well and a advanced processor,so an update in the future should not be a problem.
So two things happen:
1) LG locks the bootloader so rooting the tablet is near impossible.
2) LG states they will update 12 devices they will update to ICECREAMSANDWICH- BUT THEY DO NOT INCLUDE THIS DEVICE WHICH COST MORE THAN ANY OTHER DEVICE ON THE LIST.

Agreed, they don't stand behind their product. Seeing a lot of complaints about different LG products, as well as experiencing them. Think this Company will start losing market share, as it should.
