"Rogered over" again and again and again.........

Each year for the last six years, we put our Rogers internet services on hold, for five months , beginning in November, while we go to Texas. Each year, without fail Rogers continues to withdraw my preauthorized payments. Each year I spend hours explaining the situation to various customer service representatives who each tell me " Yes sir, you are right. This should not have happened and I am going to make sure this does not happen again." I have the print outs of these conversations supplied by Rogers but each year we go through the same "Ground Hog Day" scenario. I do finally get credit for money but it does rankle me that they have control over my funds for all that time and they seem to have no motivation to change.

Why do you permit preauthorized payments? Have your bank rescind the authorization. That should put you in a much stronger position!

Totally agree...why do people allow these preauthorized payments. It only takes a few minutes to view and pay bills online.
