Buongiorno is now scamming Bell users.

On my last bill I noticed that there was an event charge of $9.99 from this company. I called Bell and they said they would credit me the $9.99 and block that company from billing me. One month later, on my current bill I see that they did reinburse me but there was another charge for the exact same thing. So I called Bell again today and they informed me that they are not capable of blocking third party billing and they gave me a 1-800 number to call to unsubscribe to this service. I called the number and followed the unsubscribe instructions. Now all I can do is play the waiting game to see if it will show up on my bill again next month.

You've been Crammed! Someone at your house may have submitted a coupon or called a text number to get it started. It's illegal here but there's not much you can do about it except protest the charges every month. Some phone companies allow “bill blocking” to prevent someone from putting charges for extra services on your phone bill unless you have confirmed directly with the phone company that you agreed to purchase them. Here's some info on that:

Hi!
I had the same problem and I called Bell to get a refund, they accepted, but told me that they won't necessary do that each time, since I'm responsible (even if I'm not). After, I wrote an email to Gamifive (that was yesterday) at gamifive.ca@buongiorno.com and they sent me an email and a SMS today to confirm that my subscription was cancelled and that I won't receive any other charges or SMS from them. If it can help some people, here is the email I sent that seemed to be very efficient :
Hi!
I noticed on my mobile bill that I have a 9.99$ charge for subscribing to buongiorno (gamifive, mobivillage or whatever). I don't know how it happened and I never accepted to subscribe to any of this. Anyway, I called my mobile supplier and they aggreed to cancel the charges. Now I wish to stop this subscription (that I never accepted) immediatly and do not want to be charge for anything else. My phone number is 514-555-5555. Please send me a confirmation by email to myemailadress@hotmail.com and don't send any SMS to this mobile number again. I don't want to see any other charges from you on my next mobile bill.
Thanks!

So now I guess that everything is fine... time will say

I also found this on my Bell bill. The lady I spoke to at Bell over the phone knew exactly what it was when I mentioned Buongiorno and said she will remove the charge. She also gave me a 1 800 number to call, as well as trying to text STOP to 65555. I tried texting first as that seemed easiest but I got an automated text back saying my number was not registered with them. I called the 1 800 number afterwards and followed the automated instructions but they said "cannot process request at this time." I finally got a hold of a real person representative who finally removed me from all subscriptions. Hopefully I won't get anymore now.
