Prosvent by Dr. May's | Gripevine

I replied to an 800 number to purchase Prosvent a herbal prostate medicine and was assaulted by a long running list of options and sales pitch to purchase everything but what the TV add said which was a trail bottle of a one month supply of Prosvent. As a result of the barrage of attempts to get me to buy a ton of unnecessary and expensive products which I did not want or need I got curious and looked on the internet to see what was being said about the company and it’s products. According to what I’ve read this is a scam and everything that’s being said about the deceptive trade practices this company is engaged in and the useless chemicals they are selling are absolutely true. Due to the negative publicity this company and it’s products are receiving on the net I immediately cancelled my order and am returning the merchandise for a complete refund and notifying my CHASE credit card company of this scam. Just as the negative publicity stated would happen arrived in the package a bill for $79.95 along with a ton of disclaimers and hoops to jump through to return the products for a full refund along with the promise to bill me for $79.90 for the rest of my life. Whereas the TV adds implied and the order taker indicated I would only be charged $9.95 for shipping for a free 30 day trail. This company it’s employees and Dr. May, in my opinion are engaged in nothing more than theft and therefore nothing more than thieves and liars. I would never do business with these scammers again.Additionally, these products are recommended by a doctor who in my opinion should have his license permanently revoked for endorsing the art of thievery.
